I accept commissions in any medium or to any scale, in fact I enjoy the challenge of understanding the particular needs or visions of a client, no matter how vague or indeed, how precise. Perhaps you would like a special piece of artwork to remind you of a special event or experience. Commissioned works can be based upon either a clients own photographic media of which they must own the copyright or on field studies and photographs made by Ekaterina during a location visit (Location visits are limited to the United Kingdom only).

To create a commission for you, I will need photographs, preferably of good quality. Shots taken relatively close work best of all. Detailed commissions will be nearly impossible to create without clear photographs. It would help if you can send several photographs of the subject matter, a couple showing the main subject matter of the commission together with close-up shots of any particular points of interest..

If you want photos to be returned to you, please include a self-addressed envelope with sufficient postage. You can also e-mail photos as e-mail attachments once initial contact has been established, but in this case please be sure that the images are of high quality.

Commissions commence from £200 for unframed works plus delivery. Costs for location work are additional and are payable before the visit takes place. We’ll need to sign a Contract that defines the scope and timeline for a commissioned work. When we agree on all details, I will send it to you by postal mail, e-mail or fax, so you can sign and return it to me. You will keep your own copy of Contract for future reference. A 25% deposit is required before I start to work on the commissioned works, the deposit is no-refundable but is off-set against the final purchase price.

Unless a separate agreement is entered into all rights of reproduction and copyright in the work, preliminary design and any incidental works made during the creation of the work are reserved by the artist.

Finishing a commission takes from four to six weeks from the date when I receive the signed Contract, photos and deposit. If the photographs which you send me don’t provide as much details as necessary, working on a commission may take more time. In this case I will contact you to discuss the situation.

Usually I pack and ship a finished commission in 1-3 days after a final payment is received. All orders are shipped by either UPS or DHL standard shipping, if you want to receive your order quicker special arrangements can be made for Express Delivery.

If for some reason you are not satisfied with the commission I will refund your money, no questions asked. The only requirement is for the artwork to be in the original condition. Artworks may be returned within 14 days after delivery, so that you could examine them without any obligations. Return shipping and insurance costs are not refundable.
